  • We have a full service repair shop for guitars, basses, amps, keyboards, PA speakers, turntables, microphones, soundboards and everything in between. If it makes sound…we most likely are able to repair it.

  • Absolutely. We can be fairly picky with what we’re willing to take on, but we’re always looking for instruments and equipment to add to our inventory. Contact us via the Request Appraisal form on our Contact Page with detailed information about what you’d like to part with and our appraiser will be in touch with an offer.

  • Any of the vocal microphones we carry are more than sufficient for any live vocalist. Some work on female vocals better than male vocals, or spoken word better than singing, indoor vs outdoor events…not only do we carry high quality microphones, but we stock a variety of them so we can make your rental as ideal as possible for your specific scenario. If you don’t know which specific microphone(s) is needed for your event, we are more than happy to walk you through what will work best for you.

  • We carry a variety of speakers for any sized event and base our recommendations after hearing the details of your sound needs. Square footage of the space, the number of people attending the event, as well as the type of event (band, spoken word, background music) are all factors that will determine the ideal size speakers for your event.

  • Just about every single music listening experience is enhanced by the use of a dedicated subwoofer. When people are listening to live bands and complain about it sounding “harsh”, “muddy” or even just “too loud”, it’s very often because no subwoofers are being used. This forces the main speakers (“tops”) to be pushed louder to try and reproduce the lower bass frequencies, but they aren’t designed for that, so the result is a loud, painful mess. Adding subwoofers to your live sound event allows you to create a smoother, fuller listening experience, even at lower volumes. The days of 100+ pound subwoofers is well in our rearview and we proudly stock many powerful, yet portable subwoofer options for any event.

  • In most cases, yes. If you have an event requiring speeches and loud music, we will provide a system that is adequate for both purposes. If you rent a system that is only designed for speech, it might not be the best option for a dance party, so please provide all details of your event prior to renting any gear.

  • You are more than welcome to visit our showroom to check out any gear you’re interested in renting.

  • Our $50 delivery fee covers delivery of up to 15 miles from downtown Eau Claire. Delivery and pickup are $50 each, so full delivery and pickup service is a $100 charge. If you need delivery beyond this area, feel free to contact us for a custom quote on your rental.

  • This depends on your specific rental, but we very much value portability for all of our rentals. 90% of our rentals can be transported in a small SUV/hatchback - the only exception to that would be very large outdoor events where large speakers and subwoofers are required.

  • Unless you are renting an 18” subwoofer (or two), we do not offer carts or dollies as a standard addition to your gear rental. Our gear is highly portable and comes in easy to transport cases - many of which have wheels. We do have heavy-duty carts available for an additional fee if you would like to add one to your rental.

  • One of our audio pros will walk you through basic operation of your equipment when you pick up your rental or it is delivered to your location. If you have issues with the rented equipment during your rental period, call us at 715-972-4450 for assistance.

  • If any gear that you have rented is not working or broken prior to your event, call the number provided on your rental agreement and we will do everything possible to get you a replacement so that your event can continue. Any gear that is damaged due to mishandling/misuse is subject to the terms outlined in the rental agreement and liability waiver signed prior to any rental.

  • Absolutely. Submit your rental form request and note any customization requests in your submission. One of our pros will be in touch with you regarding your request within 24 hours to discuss pricing and any questions you may have regarding your gear rental. The majority of customizations (e.g. asking for different vocal microphones) can be made with no charge and many common customization options are listed in the package description.

  • Our showroom is located at 1414 S. Hastings Way in Eau Claire, WI. All rental pickups and drop-offs take place at this location, as well as our main showroom.

  • All rentals will come with necessary power cords and microphone/instrument cables for basic setup. We do have extension cords and surge protectors/power strips that will be provided with rentals as-needed. Our pros will be in touch to discuss your needs in further detail once your rental request form rental request form has been received and reviewed in case you need extra cables or power supplies for your event.

  • At this time we carry minimal event lighting options for backdrop effects only, but our selection will expand as is necessary, so feel free to mention lighting if it’s something you’d like to have with your rental and we may have something that works for you!

  • Extreme heat or cold will have an impact on battery performance for any battery-powered gear. If you are running an outdoor event with battery powered speakers and are concerned about heat/cold, we recommend having a back-up plan by using extension cords to a power source. Extreme heat can have an effect on speakers/subwoofers that do not have a built-in cooling fan, so if your rental is outdoors during extreme heat, we will make sure to provide you the most appropriate system that will perform well in those conditions.

  • We do offer small tent rentals to protect equipment in the case of rain. These tents are typically not large enough to protect entire events, but are plenty spacious to set up speakers and sound equipment that will be protected from the elements.

  • We review rental requests daily and will call to discuss and confirm your rental reservation and to answer any questions within 24 hours of submission.
